Allegedly assembled on a kitchen table in the 1970s, somewhere between the scent of fresh baguettes and monsoon-soaked bougainvillaea. Welcomed into the world beside a dark northern lake, then carried off to sun-drenched islands and the vibrant pulse of a West African city—where my earliest school days began.

I’ve since lived between cultures and continents— on snow-covered sidewalks, in sleepless cities, in cafés where I spend my best hours thinking, writing, and quietly watching life unfold. I’ve always felt at home in that rhythm: the calm observer in the midst of movement. Currently based in Stockholm.

Studied Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and at the Art Students League in New York.

That in-between has followed me into the studio. My paintings and drawings live in the same ‘mellanrum’/‘entre-deux’ I grew up navigating- the space between what’s shown and what is held back, between belonging and distance. A full-time human: observing, listening, trying to understand and give back. I create to follow the thread between us, ask questions, and trace what connects, aware that where we stand changes what we’re able to see- and that the categories we rely on are simplifications, not the thing itself.
